Diagram helpers
---------------

Thin wrappers that delegate node/connection creation to ``Model``/``View``
instances.

Logging helpers
---------------

Thin configuration layer around the standard :mod:`logging` module: sets a
consistent formatter and exposes ``log_set_level``, ``log_to_file``, and
